Claire Padien-Havens

Claire Padien-Havens currently serves as the Director of Strategic Projects & Initiatives at Houston Grand Opera since April 2023. Prior to this role, Claire was the Managing Director of Institutional Strategy & Advancement at Opera San José from August 2019 to May 2023. Claire's experience includes serving as the General Director's Associate at San Francisco Opera from October 2011 to May 2019, where responsibilities included acting as Chief of Staff and liaising with the Board of Directors. Earlier professional experience includes the role of Senior Grant Writer at THE ARC OF BLACKSTONE VALLEY and Tenant and Board Relations Assistant at Independence Square Foundation. Claire holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from New York University and received education from Dana Hall School.
