Tristan Broussard

Tristan Broussard is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as the Division Manager for the Strengthening HAI/AR Program Capacity (SHARP) Team at the Houston Health Department since August 2022. In this role, Tristan specializes in collaborating with nursing homes and clinical providers to address hospital-acquired infections and promote antimicrobial resistance initiatives. Prior experience includes a decade-long tenure at the City of Houston in various epidemiological and biostatistical roles, contributing to disease surveillance and intervention strategies. Tristan holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
