Kathy Davenport has extensive experience in the healthcare field, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Patient Care Assistant at Houston Hospice since March 2021, Kathy previously held roles such as Staffing Coordinator at SURECARE AT HOME LIMITED and Medical Records Coordinator at Kindred Healthcare. Other notable positions include Business Office Manager at Lighthouse Hospice and Administrative Assistant at Girling Home Health Care, where responsibilities ranged from human resources management to medical coding. Kathy began their career as a Unit Secretary and Nurse Aide at Tomball Regional Medical Center and has consistently contributed to patient care and administrative efficiency throughout various healthcare settings. Kathy holds a CNA degree from Lone Star College and a diploma from Magnolia High School.

Houston Hospice is Greater Houston's oldest, largest, independent, nonprofit hospice. Founded in 1980, we are a leader in the hospice care industry and provide services to patients and families of all ages and ethnicities. Houston Hospice is an in-network provider for most insurance companies and is licensed by Medicare and Medicaid. Houston Hospice is a member of the Texas Medical Center, Texas Non-Profit Hospice Alliance and the Texas New Mexico Hospice Organization. Houston Hospice is accredited by the National Institute for Jewish Hospice and by Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc (CHAP). CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care.
