Ana Mac Naught

Ana Mac Naught has over a decade of experience in community development and program management, currently serving as Senior Director of Programs at Houston in Action since April 2019. Prior roles include Director of Coordination and Census Coordinator at the same organization, and various positions at Neighborhood Centers Inc., including Community Developer and Immigration Program Manager. Ana has also worked as an Events Coordinator at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and as a Researcher at the Transnational Institute. Additional experience includes roles at the Consulate of Mexico and the Center for Border Studies and the Promotion of Human Rights, focusing on cultural activities, human rights advocacy, and community outreach. Ana holds multiple degrees in Sociology and Political Science from prestigious institutions, including Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
