Aaron Welch

Aaron Welch is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network engineering and systems support. Currently serving as a Sr Network Systems Engineer at Houston ISD since July 2014, Aaron has previously held positions including Sr Network Analyst at Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., and Network Engineer at CVR Energy, Inc., where responsibilities included network maintenance, troubleshooting, and design implementation. Prior roles include management positions at Internet America ISP and CompuCom, where Aaron oversaw engineering teams and handled customer communications networks. Aaron began the career in technology with a foundation in desktop support at Texas Children's Hospital and field service technician roles at Witt Biomedical. The professional journey initiated in the US Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician First Class. Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both from Western Governors University.
