A'Lesia Land

A'Lesia Land, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Student Discipline for the West Division at Houston Independent School District since October 2024. Previously held the role of Counseling Coordinator for Secondary Education at Lamar Consolidated Independent School District from July 2023 to November 2024 and served as School Principal at Spring Independent School District from June 2021 to June 2023. A'Lesia's extensive experience also includes a position as Principal at Brazosport Independent School District from July 2014 to June 2021 and as Assistant Principal at Houston Independent School District from June 2009 to June 2014. A'Lesia holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, obtained between 2011 and 2013, and possesses strong skills in evaluating instructional programs, managing budgets and personnel, coordinating campus functions, interpreting data, and effective communication.
