Antonio Henry

Antonio Henry, M.Ed, M.S. is an experienced educator currently serving as a 7th Grade ELA Teacher at Houston ISD since July 2023. In this role, Antonio has developed a comprehensive ELA curriculum, integrating diverse instructional materials to foster critical thinking and a passion for literacy among students. Prior experience includes a Teacher Apprentice position at Houston ISD, where support for classroom instruction was provided, and roles such as Division Head at Camp Sequoia, overseeing counselor and camper activities, and Resident Counselor with Summer Discovery, focusing on student safety and engagement. Antonio also has a background as a Writing Teacher and 4th Grade Mathematics Tutor at KIPP Texas Public Schools, alongside guest teaching and mentoring roles earlier in the career. Antonio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing two master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction - Leadership from Liberty University and Human Resources Management from the University of Southern California.
