Kylene V.

Kylene V. serves as the Executive Director of Support at Houston ISD since August 2015, leading the district-wide transition to a new Support and Unit Model that integrates multiple departments to achieve operational excellence. Prior roles include Senior Executive Director of Unit, where Kylene V. managed four Executive Directors and 22 schools, implementing initiatives to improve service delivery and stakeholder engagement. As Executive Director of Feeder, Kylene V. directed the New Education System implementation, enhancing operations for nine schools. Previous experience includes various leadership roles at PARC, MAS, and HHCI, focusing on nonprofit program development and professional learning networks. Kylene V. holds a Doctorate in Education from Houston Baptist University, a Master's in Administration and Management from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor's in Studio and Fine Arts and English from the same university.
