Kyna Eberhardt

Kyna Eberhardt currently serves as the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for Houston Independent School District since September 2024 and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to these roles, Kyna Eberhardt worked for Dallas Independent School District from August 2014 to September 2024, where responsibilities included Director/Senior Site Administrator of the Career Institute East and Program Coordinator for the Career Institute South. Additionally, Kyna Eberhardt co-founded the Thomas Jefferson Collegiate Academy, which enables first-generation students to earn college credits and an Associate's Degree. Earlier in the career, positions included Assistant Principal at DeSoto Independent School District and various journalism roles in television news, including News Anchor and News Reporter. Kyna Eberhardt is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at Walden University, with previous degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.
