Marcus Williams is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various roles within Houston ISD, currently serving as the Principal of Lanier Middle School since August 2011. Previous positions include Assistant Principal and Instructional Coordinator at Kennedy Elementary School, where oversight of multiple grade teams and data analysis for student growth were key responsibilities. Williams began a career in education as an Elementary School Teacher at The Rusk School, achieving significant academic growth for students. Prior experience at Nike as a Customer Service Representative and Store Lead contributed to strong management and leadership skills. Williams holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Morehouse College.
