Preeti Burns

Director, IT Customer Service at Houston ISD

Preeti Burns has extensive work experience in the IT field, with a focus on customer service and support. Preeti has held leadership positions such as President at HDI of Houston and Director of IT Customer Service at Houston ISD. Preeti was also the Director of Technology Customer Services at Katy ISD for nearly a decade. Earlier in their career, Preeti served as Chapter President of HDI of Houston and as a Customer Support Center Manager at Transocean Sedco Forex. Preeti started their career as a Helpdesk Analyst at Pennzoil before moving on to become a Technology Support Supervisor at Air Liquide America Corporation.

Preeti Burns completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in General from Elsik High School from 1985 to 1989. Preeti also has additional certifications, including the Prosci® Enterprise Change Management Boot Camp from Prosci, which was obtained in 2022, and the Prosci Change Management Practitioner from Prosci, obtained in 2017.
