Steve Steficek

Steve Steficek is an experienced marketing and communication professional with a strong background in public relations, social media content creation, and education. Currently serving as a Social Media Content Creator, Copywriter, and Press Relations Specialist at Houston Teachers & Parents United since February 2022, Steve advocates for public education and maintains press relations to support the organization. Additionally, Steve holds an Associate Teacher position at Houston ISD. Previous experience includes freelance marketing for performing arts theaters, contract roles as a Digital Analyst at American Express and Merrill Lynch, and a series of marketing and public relations roles across various industries. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Houston and an Associate's degree in Economics from Houston Community College.
