Janida Wong

Janida Wong is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with professional experience at Houston Methodist in Long Term Acute Care since March 2024 and at Legacy Healthcare Services from May 2022 to March 2024, where occupational therapy services were provided to the geriatric population in independent and assisted living facilities. Previous clinical training included Level IIB Fieldwork at Reliant Healthcare Group in an Outpatient Pediatric Setting, Level IIA Fieldwork at Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital Katy in Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Level I Fieldwork at The Lazarus House and Faith Pediatric Rehabilitation in geriatric and outpatient pediatric settings, respectively. Janida began her career as a Medical Assistant and Front Desk Administrator at Cy-Pain & Spine, where essential administrative and patient support tasks were performed. Janida holds an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Pima Medical Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Houston.
