Michael Reardon serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Transverse Medical Inc since June 2021. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Allison Family Distinguished Chair of Cardiovascular Research at Houston Methodist Hospital since January 2015 and has been the Chief of Cardiac Surgery at The Methodist Hospital since 1994. At the Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, Michael has been a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery since 2002, after previously serving as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Program Director of the Thoracic Residency at Baylor College of Medicine from 1995 to 2002. Michael's education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine, along with General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery residencies at the same institution and Texas Heart Institute, respectively.
