Zita Agbara

Zita Agbara, APRN, AGACNP-BC, currently serves on the AGACNP Clinical Emergency Response Team at Houston Methodist, where involvement includes responsiveness to sepsis, code blue situations, and care in the VICU since October 2016. Zita holds certifications in ACLS, FCCS, and PALS and has a background as a nursing supervisor at Catalyst Health Services Inc. from April 2004 to October 2017, and as a staff nurse in both CCU/M/SICU at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and M/SICU at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital from 1996 to 2007. Zita obtained a Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman's University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (1994-1996). Additionally, Zita is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
