Steve Bezner

Steve Bezner has been in ministry for over 20 years. Steve is currently the Senior Pastor at Houston Northwest Church. Prior to their current position, Steve served as a faculty member at Southwest Christian School, teaching Bible and Ethics to high school Freshmen. Steve also served as a pastor at Commons Church, where they planted the church in July 2010, and at Kaufman's First Baptist Church, where they oversaw adult discipleship, preached Sunday evenings, and assisted with pastoral care. Steve is a gifted teacher and preacher, and they have a passion for helping people grow in their faith.

Steve Bezner's educational career includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Religion/Religious Studies from Baylor University, a Master's Degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Hardin-Simmons University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Bible from Hardin-Simmons University. Steve Bezner is also certified from Lakeside Baptist Church in Breckenridge, Texas as Ordained to Ministry and from First Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas as Licensed to Ministry.
