Andrew Schneider is an experienced journalist with a strong background in politics, government, and business reporting. Currently serving as a Politics and Government Reporter for Houston Public Media since January 2011, Schneider has covered significant events such as the impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and the January 6 insurrection. Previously, Schneider held roles as a Business Reporter and Associate Editor at Kiplinger Washington Editors, where responsibilities included analyzing foreign policy and national security matters. Schneider's professional journey began with research and investigative roles and has been supported by a solid educational foundation, including an AM in History from Duke University and an AB in History from the University of Chicago.
