Brenda Valdivia is a seasoned media producer currently working at Houston Public Media since October 2019, where responsibilities include producing the show Town Square with Ernie Manouse and occasionally guest hosting for Houston Matters. With a career in independent performance since January 2013, Brenda specializes in corporate team building through improv and storytelling, achieving recognition as a two-time Story Slam winner with The Moth. In addition, Brenda owns Mocking Bird Network, focusing on multi-track interview audio production and directing live podcast shows. Prior experience includes a role as a case manager at Robert Half, where duties encompassed managing medical information projects and preparing documentation for large-scale lawsuits. Brenda earned a degree from the University of Houston-Downtown from 2006 to 2010.
