James Hiroms

Lead Master Control Op. at Houston Public Media

James Hiroms possesses extensive experience in broadcasting and technical operations. Since September 1999, James has served as the Lead Master Control Operator at Houston Public Media and as a Master Control Engineer at HoustonPBS Channel 8, where responsibilities include running and maintaining multiple channels with a focus on error-free operations and database maintenance. Prior to this, from December 1997 to September 1999, James worked at UPN20 KTXH as a Master Control Engineer, taking on the roles of Technical Director and studio producer for live productions. James holds a degree in Multimedia Communications from The Art Institutes, as well as additional education from the University of Houston.
