Matt Harab is an experienced broadcast journalist currently serving as the Morning News Anchor at Houston Public Media since November 2019. Prior to this role, Matt was the Daily Overnight Host at Gow Media from July 2016 to March 2019, where responsibilities included hosting the show “Over the Night with Matt Harab” and providing daily news updates. Between September 2014 and June 2016, Matt worked as the News/Sports Director for the Nebraska Rural Radio Association, focusing on producing and voicing live newscasts and sportscasts, hosting a weekly sports talk show, and providing play-by-play commentary for high school and university football games. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Delaware, earned in 2013.
