Michael Hagerty

Michael Hagerty is a seasoned journalism professional with extensive experience in public radio and television. Currently serving as Senior Producer at KUHF-FM, Houston Public Radio, since August 2013, Michael is responsible for planning and creating content for the station's public affairs show, Houston Matters. Previous roles include Public Address Announcer for the Reno Aces, News Director at both Reno Public Radio and KNPB Channel 5, and graphic design work at Business Direct Marketing. Michael's career began as Announcer/Producer at Abilene Public Radio. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Abilene Christian University and a High School Diploma from Devine High School.
