Private Club focused on Family, Tennis, Fitness and Recreation Founded in 1965, the Houston Racquet Club was the first major club in Texas to be devoted primarily to tennis. During the five decades since its inception, the Club has played a major role in the game of tennis and the community. The Houston Racquet Club has been rated among the Top Fifty Clubs in the United States by Tennis Magazine.
