Lee Whatley

Lee Whatley serves as the Senior Director of IT and Data Analytics at the Houston Symphony since October 2018, following a lengthy tenure at the Houston Grand Opera from October 1993 to October 2018. During this time, Lee held the position of Director of Business Analytics, where responsibilities included formulating the annual budget, managing companywide reporting, and overseeing data resources for grant development. Lee's expertise extended to managing endowment gifts and leading the Tessitura user group. Prior roles at the Houston Grand Opera encompassed various ticketing and marketing positions, culminating in a deep knowledge of ticket sales campaigns, marketing strategies, and the Tessitura software. Education includes attendance at Sharpstown High School and the University of Houston-Downtown.
