David Mitchell, MBA

David Mitchell, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. David started their career as a Staff Accountant/Auditor at PMB Helin Donovan in 2004, where they participated in quarterly and annual financial audits for Not-For-Profits, state governmental agencies, and small businesses. In 2005, they joined Grant Thornton LLP as an Assurance Associate, where they participated in quarterly and annual financial audits and assisted in the preparation and filing of several clients' Form S-1 Registration Statement and Initial Public Offering.

In 2006, they moved on to KPMG as an Assurance Associate, participating in quarterly and annual SEC financial audits for publicly traded Oil and Gas exploration and production companies. David then joined Southwestern Energy in 2007 as a Senior Accountant, responsible for reconciling, analyzing, accounting, and reporting related monthly activities for the gas marketing and gas gathering subsidiaries.

After three years at Southwestern Energy, David Mitchell joined O'Brien's Emergency Response Group in 2010 as an Audit Supervisor, overseeing a team of 5 audit staff and performing top-level reviews and authorizing subcontractor invoices for payment. David then transitioned to The Siegfried Group in 2011 as an Associate Manager, where they worked as an external consultant embedded with Ernst & Young's Financial Accounting Advisory Services group, preparing and reviewing SEC filings and submitting XBRL tagging for an Ernst & Young client.

From 2013 to 2015, David Mitchell served as a Cost Accountant at FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, managing monthly work order cost activities, inventory and WIP activities, and production amounts for three manufacturing facilities. David then joined CB&I in 2017 as an Internal Financial Reporting Senior/Job Cost Accountant - Contract Position, and in 2018, they became a Senior Plant Accountant at WildHorse Resource Development. Most recently, they are employed as a Senior Accountant at Houston Wire & Cable since 2019.

David Mitchell, MBA, completed their B.S. in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in the years 2001 to 2003. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their MBA in Energy Finance from Texas Southern University between 2009 and 2011.
