Li-Chia Chen

Li-Chia (Liz) Chen is a skilled data scientist currently employed at Houzz since August 2022, with previous experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst focused on SEO. Prior to this role, Liz worked at Zwift from January to July 2022 as an Associate Data Scientist, where an XGBoost model with 82% accuracy was developed to enhance customer conversion using user profile data and in-game metrics. Additionally, Liz contributed as a Data & Insights Intern at Zwift in mid-2021, creating SQL dashboards that facilitated stakeholder decision-making. With a strong background in clinical data management from Athenex and Clinipace, Liz held positions leading oncology studies and implementing data reconciliation processes for international trials. Academia includes a Master of Science in Data Analytics from San José State University, a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Medical Biotechnology from National Taiwan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Biomedical Laboratory Science from Chang Gung University.
