Trista Shi is currently the VP of Growth at Hover since September 2025. Prior to this, Trista held various leadership roles at Amplitude from June 2017 to August 2025, including Vice President of Strategy, where responsibility included leading enterprise and product-led growth strategies, overseeing product launches, and managing M&A opportunities. As VP of Strategic Initiatives, Trista facilitated a significant GTM shift within the organization, transitioning from a sales-led to a self-serve model. Trista's foundational role in GTM Strategy and Operations contributed to scaling Amplitude from under $10 million to over $250 million in ARR and supported the company's IPO. Previous experience includes being the Director of Business Strategy & Operations at PubMatic, where operational restructuring resulted in a 56% profit increase, and Director of Product Marketing at Accenture. Trista’s early career involved roles as a Management Consultant and Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where Trista earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering.
