Alessandro Recla

Alessandro Recla has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Alessandro is currently the Regional Sales Director at Hovione, a role they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AMRI as the Manager of Business Development from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for business development and account management in the European market, focusing on formulation development and clinical manufacturing activities. Before AMRI, Alessandro worked at Aptuit as a Regional Sales Director from 2015 to 2017, where they developed strategic partnerships and expanded awareness of the company's premium services. Alessandro also worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a European Business Development Manager and a Business Development Manager from 2012 to 2014, focusing on sterile injectable drugs. Alessandro's earlier experience includes roles at West Pharmaceutical Services and Helvoet Pharma Italia, where they were involved in key account management and business development at national and international levels. Alessandro began their career at CELLOGRAFICA GEROSA, S.A., where they held a role in quality control and technical support.

Alessandro Recla has a background in both primary packaging for agricultural and food products and chemical industrial engineering. Alessandro obtained a Tecnologo Alimentare degree with a focus on primary packaging from the Università degli Studi di Milano, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Chemical Industrial Engineer degree from ITC Jean Monnet, attending from 1991 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Alessandro has completed the Challenger Selling Foundations course and the Miller Heiman Strategic Selling program, the latter of which they completed in 2015.
