Pedro Farinha

Pedro Farinha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Global Director of Design Engineering at Hovione since 1994. Previously, Pedro held the position of Head of Design Engineering at Hovione FarmaCiencia SA. Prior to joining Hovione, Pedro worked as a Project Director at ATRAL-CIPAN Group from April 1988 to September 1994, overseeing significant projects such as an API plant by Chemical Synthesis in Iran and a fermentation plant in India. Additionally, Pedro was a teacher and researcher at IST - Technical University of Lisbon from 1985 to 1988, after completing education at Instituto Superior Técnico from 1980 to 1986.
