At Hovione, Rita worked as the Global Learning & Development Director, responsible for shaping the company's learning and people development agenda, implementing standardized processes, and enhancing the learning experience through technology. Rita also served as the Global Talent Management Director, where they developed talent management and succession strategies, simplified performance management processes, and led the implementation of a global recruitment platform.

Prior to Hovione, Rita held the position of Head of Talent Development & Training and HR Manager at AKI Portugal, where they focused on talent development, competency models, and high-tech training solutions.

At Philip Morris International, Rita worked as the Global HR Organization Development Manager, where they established talent acquisition strategies and implemented global recruitment platforms.
