Rute Nunes

Rute Nunes is an accomplished R&D Analyst at Hovione since March 2017, with a strong background in biochemistry and protein research. Prior experience includes working as a Master Researcher at UCIBIO-REQUIMTE, FCT NOVA from March 2014 to October 2016, focusing on protein characterization related to cell division in anaerobic bacteria and the genomic organization of denitrification enzymes in Marinobacter hydrocarbonoclasticus. Earlier, Rute contributed as a Scientific Researcher at UCIBIO-REQUIMTE in 2013, studying redox properties of a copper protein from Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Rute holds a Master's degree in Structural and Functional Biochemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, both from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
