Phil Bishop

Phil Bishop is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in FP&A, supply chain finance, and logistics management. Currently serving as FP&A Director at Hovis Ltd since December 2020 and as Founder and Director of 9 Bears Consultancy Limited, Phil has successfully supported significant business initiatives, including the sale of Hovis to Endless LLP. During a previous tenure at Hovis from May 2014 to March 2020, Phil implemented a robust FP&A framework, achieving significant EBITDA growth and enhancing liquidity positions. Phil's career spans several prominent positions in finance and supply chain roles across various companies, including Premier Foods and Kerry Foods, where strategic financial management resulted in substantial cost reductions. Phil holds an FCA designation and a BSc Hons in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics from the University of Exeter.
