Susan Greenwood Schroeder

Susan Greenwood Schroeder has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Susan is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at How Women Lead, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they founded SGS Workshop in 2020, where they served as a Creative Brand Strategist, Marketing Advisor, and Storyteller for small businesses and non-profit leaders. From 2017 to 2020, Susan worked as the Director of Marketing at The Hivery, a female-fueled coworking space and inspiration lab. Susan also has experience at Kimochis, where they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications and co-founder from 2007 to 2017. Before that, they founded SGS Design Studio in 2001 and worked at Chronicle Books as the Promotions Manager in the Children's Division from 1996 to 2001.

Susan Greenwood Schroeder has a BS with High Honors in Managerial Economics / English from the University of California, Davis. Susan also completed a Book and Magazine Publishing Program at Rice University and studied Graphic Design at the University of California, Berkeley.
