Wren O'Kelley has had a diverse range of communications and managerial roles throughout their career. Wren began as a Lab Assistant at the Yarrow Mamout Archaeology Project in 2015 before moving on to work as a Discourse Lab Supervisor at The George Washington University Department of Anthropology. Subsequently, they became the Resource Center Staff at The GW LGBTQIA+ Resource Center, followed by roles as a Research Assistant at the Intersectionality Research Institute and a Communications Assistant at Libraries and Academic Innovation at the George Washington University. Wren then served as a Digital/Media Manager at the Multicultural Student Services Center at the George Washington University, Communications Manager at The Intersectionality Training Institute, and eventually took on leadership roles as Communications Manager and Associate Director of Communications and Marketing at Howard Brown Health.

Wren O'Kelley completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and International Affairs at The George Washington University from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Wren obtained certifications in Data Entry Training for REDCap in September 2019, and in Human Subjects Research Ethics from The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative in September and October 2018.
