Karl (KJ) Austin

Karl (KJ) Austin has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Karl (KJ) began their career in the US Army as a Sergeant First Class and Recruiter, where they scheduled and coordinated meetings, handled veteran claim files, and assisted veterans with their inquiries. Karl (KJ) also conducted job fairs and maintained positive relationships with various stakeholders.

After their military service, Karl worked as a Business Operations Analyst for Chenega Corporation, where they analyzed requirements, prepared data and presentations, and collected metrics in support of corporate and customer needs. Karl (KJ) also had knowledge of personnel management and recruitment processes.

Karl then joined PAE Design and Facility Management as a White Cell Coordinator, assisting the Project Lead in developing program requirements and overseeing assessment operations. Karl (KJ) also performed various tasks assigned to the Project Lead.

Next, Karl served as a Senior Human Resources Manager at ManTech, where they recommended process improvements, composed written communication, and tracked office-related metrics. Karl (KJ) also prepared status reports and responded to customer queries.

Following that, Karl worked as an Action Officer at SAIC and TENICA Global Solutions, where they directed and oversaw task receipt, tracking, and closure through the TIER program. Karl (KJ) managed the action tracking system, established relationships with stakeholders, and prepared reports on action status.

Currently, Karl is employed at Howard & Company as Corporate Support to the Chief of Staff.

Throughout their career, Karl demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and relationship-building. Karl (KJ) also has experience with data analysis, metrics reporting, and process improvement.

Karl (KJ) Austin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a major in General Management, from Strayer University in 2015. Karl (KJ) then pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in General Management, from the same university. Karl (KJ) completed their master's degree in 2016. Later, Karl enrolled at Webster University, where they completed their Master of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Security in 2018.
