Sahana Callahan is an experienced professional in education, digital equity, and community outreach. Currently serving as an Adult Instructor and Research Specialist at the Howard County Library System since September 2021, Sahana engages with approximately 250 adults monthly, leads classes, and contributes to community events while working multilingually. Previous roles include a Digital Equity Content Writer and Training Specialist at Enoch Pratt Free Library, where Sahana played a pivotal role in launching the Inaugural Digital Navigation Project and developing access and literacy curriculum. Sahana's background includes diverse positions ranging from teaching English to recent refugees to coaching youth swimming and managing social media for Catholic Relief Services. Sahana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and English from Tufts University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Digital Communication and Public & Media Relations at The Johns Hopkins University.
