Joseph Bongino

Joseph Bongino is an experienced security and risk management professional currently serving as Vice President of Portfolio Security & Risk Management at The Howard Hughes Corporation since June 2020. Previously, Joseph held the position of Vice President of Security & Historic District Operations, overseeing a significant portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties. Prior to joining The Howard Hughes Corporation, Joseph served as Senior Director of Global Operations at RSL Management, managing operations across over 50 countries for a high-net-worth individual. Joseph’s extensive experience also includes a notable 13-year career with the U.S. Secret Service, where responsibilities included overseeing large teams for high-profile events and security operations. Joseph began a career in emergency services as an Emergency Medical Technician with the New York City Fire Department, receiving multiple awards for valor and lifesaving efforts. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Queens College.
