Anna Hatch

Anna Hatch, PhD, currently serves as a Program Officer for Scientific Strategy at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Anna was the DORA Program Director and DORA Community Manager at the American Society for Cell Biology from November 2017 to October 2022. Anna also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professorial Lecturer at American University in 2018. Earlier experience includes a Policy Fellow and Communications Intern at Research!America from January to November 2017, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth from August 2016 to January 2017. Anna obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College, where enrollment lasted from 2010 to 2016, after completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and Chemistry with a Mathematics minor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse between 2005 and 2009.
