Robert Lines

Robert Lines has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Robert started their career as a Senior Internet Technician at Sarver's Output Services, Inc, where they provided technical support for internet customers. Robert then worked at Wyalusing Area School District as a Technology Specialist, administering a Windows Active Directory and managing client imaging solutions. Robert then moved to Tunkhannock Area School District as a Computer Technician, managing and maintaining desktops and an Active Directory infrastructure. Robert then joined Seagate Technology as a Senior Systems Administrator, where they managed Linux HPC clusters and optimized cluster schedulers. At Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Robert held various roles, including Help Desk Engineer, Senior Unix Engineer, and Principal HPC Engineer. In these roles, they provided support for scientific research, maintained compute clusters, and optimized compute jobs. Overall, Robert has a strong background in technical support, system administration, and HPC environments.

Robert Lines received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Broadcast Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In 2005, they briefly attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania to study Instructional Technology.
