Yury Metelski

Yury Metelski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and operational leadership. Currently, Yury serves as the Director of People & Culture and Science Operations Services at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, overseeing HR strategy and operations for over 300 labs affiliated with numerous universities and research institutions across the United States. Previously, Yury held the role of Director of People & Culture at The George Washington University, focusing on strategic HR partnerships and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, Yury's earlier roles include HR Client Partner and Training and Professional Development Coordinator at the Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties. Yury's educational background includes an MBA in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, a Master's degree in Management of Development from the University of Turin / ITCILO, and a degree in International Law from the European Humanities University.
