Melessa Williams

Melessa Williams has extensive experience in the insurance and corporate services industries. Melessa started their career in 1994 as a Corporate Associate at Mossack Fonseca & Co. (B.V.I.) Limited, where they provided administrative support for the formation of offshore companies. Melessa then moved on to work as a Senior Corporate Associate at Morgan & Morgan Trust Corporation Ltd., where they managed a portfolio of international clients and acted as a liaison between the corporate department and the BVI financial services department. In 2004, Melessa became a Corporate Manager at AMS Trustees Limited, overseeing the daily operations of the corporate services department and maintaining a portfolio of international clients. Melessa then joined Victor O. Schinnerer & Co., Inc. in 2007 as an Account Executive, handling underwriting and servicing for top brokerage firms. Since 2015, Melessa has been with Howard Insurance as the Director of Commercial Lines, specializing in property and casualty coverage for nonprofit organizations and private companies. Melessa'sexpertise includes various professional coverages such as Management Liability, Cyber/Media Liability, and Professional Errors and Omissions.

Melessa Williams attended the University of Maryland from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General and Communication. Melessa then enrolled in the British Virgin Islands High school to pursue studies in Physical Sciences, although the duration of this program is not specified. In terms of additional certifications, Melessa obtained an Associate in General Insurance from the Institute Insurance of America in January 2013 and became a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter through the Professional Liability Underwriting Society in the same month and year.
