Matt Stevens

Matt Stevens has a strong background in information technology and has held various roles in this field. Matt is currently the Director of Information Technology at Howard Memorial Hospital since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Information Technology Manager at Timber Automation from June 2019 to June 2022. Matt also served as a State IT Security Specialist at the Arkansas Department of Information Systems from February 2018 to June 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Account Executive at Next Step Innovation from April 2015 to February 2018. Matt also has experience working as an IT Director at the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, where they maintained computer systems and responded to data requests from November 2013 to April 2015. Matt has also worked as a Network Administrator at Mount St. Mary Academy, where they led the implementation of a laptop-to-student program and upgraded the school's Wi-Fi system from May 2011 to November 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as an IT Director at the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and as a Network Engineer at IK Electric.

Matt Stevens completed their education at Western Governors University, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems and Services in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university. Their high school education was completed at Mountain View High School. In addition to their formal education, Matt has received certifications including Proofpoint Protection Server Foundations - Level 1 from Proofpoint Inc., and they have pursued certifications in A+, CCNA, and CompTIA Project+.
