Angela Dinkins

Angela Dinkins is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in budget management and accounting. Currently serving as the Finance Manager at Howard University since May 2021, Angela also operates Dinkins Consulting Group, established in November 2010. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at The Brookings Institution from February 2002 to April 2020, where responsibilities included managing over $10 million in grant-funded project budgets and overseeing various types of contracts as a Senior Grants Administrator. Angela's earlier roles include Senior Staff Accountant and Accounting Clerk, providing foundational skills in financial reconciliation and payroll management. Angela holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Bowie State University.
