Christian Soto

Christian Soto has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Christian is currently working at Howard University as the Director of Finance starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Howard University Hospital from 2020 to 2023. Before joining Howard University, Christian worked at Loma Linda University Health as a Senior Financial Analyst from 2017 to 2020. Christian also gained experience as an Analyst at Loma Linda University Medical Center from 2016 to 2017, and as an Accountant at Loma Linda University from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Christian worked as an Auditor at the Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists from 2013 to 2014 and as a Staff Accountant at La Sierra University from 2010 to 2013.

Christian Soto completed their education at La Sierra University. Christian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from 2005 to 2010. Later, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued an MBA with a focus in Finance. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certification as a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2021.
