Daniel Marks has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Daniel is currently working at Howard University as the Chief Program Strategist. Prior to that, they founded Scouting and Scavenging, an organization that encourages NBA, GLeague, and NCAA players and staff to collect unused hotel toiletries for donation to homeless shelters. During their time there, they facilitated the donation of over 2,100 toiletry kits to vulnerable residents impacted by COVID-19. Daniel also has experience in the sports industry, having worked at Milwaukee Bucks Inc. in various roles, including Manager of Prospect Information, Manager of Minor League Operations, Basketball Database Manager, and Basketball Operations Intern. Additionally, they worked as a Writer at Dime Magazine and as a College Ambassador for the Nashville Predators. Daniel also gained experience as a Student Manager for Vanderbilt Men's Basketball while studying at Vanderbilt University.

Daniel Marks earned a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
