Kelila Weiner

Kelila Weiner currently serves as a Project Program Coordinator at Howard University, where efforts focus on coordinating a grant-funded program that provides field practice opportunities for MSW students in DCPS schools. Prior experience includes working as an Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator for Judith Heumann LLC, supporting the work of disability rights activist Judy Heumann, managing high volumes of communication, and coordinating various engagements. Kelila has also contributed as a Dance Instructor at Elements Urban Arts Collective LLC, an intern at PEN America, and an intern at Disability Rights Maryland, where involvement included event planning and advocacy work. Additional roles encompass event staff at the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District and volunteer positions at the Smithsonian Institution. Kelila Weiner holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Psychology from Tufts University.
