Legand Burge

Legand Burge is a highly accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in computer science and technology. Currently serving as a Professor and Executive Director of Howard West - Google Tech Exchange, and as the Director of HowU Innovate Foundry at Howard University, Legand has held various leadership positions, including Professor and Chairman, Associate Professor and Chairman, and Assistant Professor since joining the institution in January 1999. Additionally, Legand is a Partner at Score3 Angel Network, focusing on empowering innovative problem solvers, and serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at XediaLabs, specializing in lean startup consulting and product design. Legand's expertise includes a stint as a Visiting Research Scientist at Google in 2017. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University, along with a B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences and Mathematics from Langston University.
