Sandra Steingard has extensive experience in the field of psychiatry, currently serving as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont since 1993, and as the Medical Director at HowardCenter since June 1995. Sandra obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine between 1977 and 1981, and earlier earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Harvard University from 1973 to 1977.
