Chris Woosnam

Chris Woosnam has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Chris started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Manager in the financial services division. Chris gained expertise in commercial valuations, dispute and tax valuations, market analysis, commercial due diligence, general insurance strategy, and purchase price allocations.

After PwC, Chris joined AIG, where they held multiple roles. As a member of the Strategy and M&A team, they covered deal activity across the EMEA region and collaborated with regional business units to execute non-organic growth strategies. Chris also led the Statutory Projection and Financial Modelling team, responsible for delivering financial models and business plan forecasting across the UK and European entities.

Following their tenure at AIG, Chris worked at EY as an Assistant Director in the Financial Services M&A team. Chris advised high-profile clients in the insurance sector, both on the buy-side and sell-side, and contributed to thought leadership materials on insurance distribution.

Chris then took on the role of Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Jensten Group, a UK-based group of insurance broking companies. Chris oversaw all M&A activities and worked closely with the board and executive committee to execute a buy and build strategy targeting smaller brokers.

Currently, Chris is serving as the Director of Corporate Finance at Howden Group Holdings.

Chris Woosnam has pursued a degree in Economics at the University of Warwick. Additionally, they have also completed their Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
