Head Of Climate Analytics Climate Risk Resilience at Howden Group Holdings

Marc Lehmann has extensive work experience in the field of climate risk management and resilience. Marc most recently worked as the Head of Climate Analytics at Howden Group Holdings. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Business Development for the UK/Europe region at Jupiter Intelligence, where they provided data and analytics services to predict and manage climate-related risks. Marc also held the position of Director for Climate Risk and Decarbonisation Strategy at KPMG UK, where they helped organizations assess the impact of climate risk on their business performance.

Before that, Marc worked at AIG, first as the Head of Catastrophe Management Solutions at Validus Re, where they delivered catastrophe risk management services to global clients. Marc later served as the Head of Innovation for Global Underwriting in the General Insurance division, where they developed new service offerings and risk management solutions. Prior to AIG, Marc worked at WTW as the Lead Partner for Catastrophe Risk Management, providing bespoke solutions to corporate clients. Marc also served as the Managing Director and Executive Director for Risk & Analytics at WTW.

Marc started their career at ABS Consulting, where they were a Senior Director responsible for natural hazard risk consulting services. Marc also worked at Battle McCarthy as an Associate Director and at Arup as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager. Marc began their career at SYSTRA and Santiago Calatrava LLC as a Senior Bridge Design Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer, respectively.

Marc Lehmann holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSc DIC) from Imperial College London. Marc also obtained a Master of Science/Diploma in Engineering (MSc/Dipl Ing ETH) in Civil Engineering from ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have achieved several additional certifications, including Chief Wine Officer from Chief Wine Officer, Co-President - ETH Alumni UK from ETH Zürich, Member - Chartered Insurance Institute from Chartered Insurance Institute, Member - RUSI from Royal United Services Institute, and Institute of Structural Engineers from The Institution of Structural Engineers.
