Maria Brijaldo

Maria Brijaldo has extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Maria recently joined Howden Group Holdings as the Head of Financial Lines. Prior to this, Maria worked at Aon Reinsurance Solutions Colombia as the Claims Leader for the Andean Region. Maria also held positions at Marsh & McLennan Companies, MAPFRE RE, COMPANIA DE REASEGUROS SA, and Mapfre Re Oficina de Representación Bogotá, where they gained expertise in underwriting, claims, and business development. Additionally, Maria has teaching experience as a Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and served as the Executive Director of ACOLDESE Asociación Colombiana de Derecho de Seguros.

Maria Brijaldo completed their education history as follows:

- From 1999 to 2004, they attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they obtained a degree in Law.

- In 2007, Maria pursued further specialization at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in the field of Insurance Law.

- In 2013 and 2014, they enrolled in Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and earned a Master's degree in Insurance Management and Techniques.

- In December 2014, Maria also obtained a certification as a Specialist in Insurance Management and Techniques from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
